Sometimes, the hardest part about motherhood is the pressure that we put on ourselves to do everything the “right” way.
We spend hours reading books, analyzing interactions with other parents and searching for articles online, all to try and find the one perfect parenting method.
If there is one thing I’ve learned so far in my journey as “mama”, it’s that we’ll never find perfect. There will always be ways that each of us can be a better mama, but there are usually even more ways that we are doing a wonderful job being a mom to our own kids.
My motherhood probably looks different than yours. There are decisions that we face each moment of the day, sometimes we’ll find the right road, sometimes we find the wrong one. Most of the time we just find something good and can find peace in knowing that we’re doing a good job.
This book is about embracing the imperfect. It’s about knowing that through the crazy ups and downs, our lack of perfection doesn’t exclude us from the “good moms club”. In fact, it’s a requirement for entry in the club.
